work practices. In response, the first edition of NFPA 70E was published in 1979.

Who is our Safety Expert?

Mike Milsapp Occupational Safety and Health 360training

Michael Millsap served as a Department of Defense Fire Fighter in special operations for four years attaining certifications Hazardous Materials Technician, Emergency Medical Technician Basic, and Confined Space/HighAngle/Water/Crash and Structural Rescue.

Michael attended college with a Major in Occupational Safety and Health and concurrently worked as a Safety Consultant for F.A. International for a period of three years.

For the next 9 years, Michael worked for 3M Company as a Gas Detection Specialist. While with 3M Company, Michael focused on providing basic and advanced understanding of principles, technologies and applications for gas monitoring and thermal imaging.

Michael is now located in Austin, he is an authorized Instructor for the 10/30 Hour Construction Outreach courses.
